Hummingbird Clearwing Moth

The Hummingbird Moths were a constant in my yard as long
as the beebalm was blooming.  I couldn't get enough
pictures of them.

Salvia of many colors

I really enjoy the salvias because they attract hummingbirds, especially the "Maraschino" and "Lady in Red" salvia. Purple salvia (perennial) "Maraschino" salvia (perennial) I cut this back in the spring and it grows to about 4-5'. This one is a favorite of the hummingbirds.
"Lady in Red" Salvia (reseeds)
Pink salvia (I collect and replant seeds in spring)

Victoria Blue Salvia

"Victoria Blue" Salvia is one of my favorite perennials. It is a beautiful shade of blue, is not invasive and blooms all summer. As you can see, the bumblebees love it too.

Blackeyed Susans

This is a view of Blackeyed Susans from the deck. The bright yellow color of the flowers is so pretty when the sun shines on them.
